Does VOLT use facial recognition?
No. VOLT does not use facial recognition and does not store biometric tracking data. It looks for situations, not identities.
Where does VOLT look?
VOLT only sees what your school connects. Schools typically connect cameras covering entrances, hallways, courtyards and grounds, and can change that anytime.
Who sees an alert?
Reviewers at VOLT’s Security Operations Center confirm what’s happening before your school’s team hears about it. The school chooses which staff can view alerts and footage through its escalation plan.
Is VOLT used for discipline?
VOLT doesn’t make discipline decisions. It shares what’s happening and where, and your school’s own policies decide what happens next.
How long is video kept?
By default, everyday footage is kept for only a few hours. Your school can keep incident footage longer, up to 10 years, to match its policy.
